👋 Hey there. I'm Ursula.
No, not the evil sea witch from the Little Mermaid. But yes, my name means “Little Bear” in Latin. Either way, mermaid or bear, I’m also a multi-dimensional creative, designer, writer, creative director, and leader. Much like a narwhal never intended to be a unicorn of the sea, I never thought I could make a living out of bringing my crazy ideas to life. Nonetheless, here I am, doing something I love every single day.
I’ve been fortunate enough to work with a range of clients, within both the agency world and brand side, doing everything from making a buffalo talk and helping battle the homeless opioid epidemic, to working alongside world-class athletes. Most recently, as the Global Creative Lead and the first hire of the founding creative team at WHOOP, a tech startup unicorn now valued at over $3.6 billion, I played a pivotal role in shaping the brand's visual and strategic direction. Over five years, under the guidance of the Chief Marketing Officer, I led the development and expansion of a robust creative department.
Then I transitioned from human wearable tech to pet tech. Currently, I’m leading creative at Fi Dog Collars, where we’re revolutionizing pet care through cutting-edge wearable technology. I mean seriously—I get to look at dog content all day?! Ok!
Outside of work, I’m a competitive swimmer, triathlete, skier, and dog lover. I’ve competed in 5 Ironman 70.3 races and 2 full Ironman 140.6 races, including the Ironman World Championship in Kona. Not to not so humble brag, but just sayin, I do have a life outside of work! There’s never a challenge too big, and I’m always open to new experiences, wherever they may take me.
